"Equipping God's people for life and ministry."
Pulled from the Apostle Paul's instructions in Ephesians 4:11-16, this vision guides CCC. As the body of Christ, we know the whole is far greater than the sum of its parts. By identifying and nurturing individual spiritual gifts, the entire local church is built up in love. Striving side-by-side, we grow in faith so that our ministry and lives may be effective for Christ.
"To know Christ and to make Him known."
After His resurrection, Jesus appeared to the disciples and gave them instructions: "Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age." We believe those same instructions apply to Christ's disciples today. As a church, we seek to know Christ and to proclaim Him. But as individuals, we also seek to know God's will and to share the good news with those placed in our lives.
