Who We Are
To know Christ and make Him known.
We are a non-denominational, Christ-centered, Gospel-preaching, Bible-teaching, elder-led, evangelical church. We are Reformed in doctrine with a strong emphasis on the reality of the New Covenant. We strive to emulate the New Testament Church as described in Acts 2, through our devotion to the Apostles' teaching, prayer, developing community, and making disciples. We recognize all of the spiritual gifts as nessary to accomplish the mission of the church. Our pastor is a graduate of Trinity College and Trinity Evangelical Divinity School with a B.A. in Biblical Studies and a M.A. in New Testament Studies. He is ordained by the Evangelical Free Church of America.
Although we are an independent, non-denominational church, we have alligned ourselves with like-minded Christians through two organizations:
The Gospel Coalition is a fellowship of evangelical churches deeply committed to renewing faith in the gospel of Christ and to reforming ministry practices to conform fully to the Scriptures. They have committed themselves to invigorating churches with new hope and compelling joy based on the promises received by grace alone through faith alone in Christ alone.
The Alliance of Confessing Evangelicals is a broad coalition of evangelical Christians from various denominations, including Baptist, Congregational (Independent), Anglican (Episcopal), Presbyterian, Reformed, and Lutheran. The purpose of the Alliance's existence is to call the Church, amidst a dying culture, to repent of its worldliness, to recover and confess the truth of God's Word as did the reformers, and to see that truth embodied in doctrine, worship, and life.
